College Credit Plus

College Credit Plus

College Credit Plus (CCP) became Ohio’s only dual enrollment program in the fall of 2015.  The purpose of the program is to provide Ohio’s students with rigorous academic coursework beyond the high school classroom.  Under College Credit Plus, a student can complete college courses toward a degree or certificate, or explore college content that interests you. Earning college credits while you’re in high school can reduce the time and cost of attending college after high school.

Through the CCP program, students take college courses at an Institution of Higher Education (IHE) that meets their learning goals, needs, and where they are able to meet the IHE’s college readiness benchmarks.  Students can also participate in the CCP program on the MHS campus where CCP courses are offered by IHE faculty.  Students are still required to meet the participating IHE’s college readiness benchmarks to participate in the course on the MHS campus.
